For someone who is supposed to be posting on a bi-weekly basis I sure haven't been holding up my part of this blog! Ijust checked and it seems that the last time I posted was December 2nd. Yikes!!! So, here's a sample list of excuses to choose from as to why I've been so very absent.
Excuse number one: Christmas was coming and I had so much to do. Now this would be way more believable if I had small children all excited about a visit from the man in red. My youngest is now, let me see (does a quick math calculation) thirty five. He's learned to control himself. Somewhat. The nerf-gun battle on Chrismas morning was lots of fun!
Excuse number two: I had the sniffles and I was sneezing and sniffling so much I couldn't type. Yes, I am a wimp. Ask anyone.
Excuse number three: It snowed and I spent all my time shovelling . No one who knows me is going to buy this one. I rationalize my hatred of snow shovelling, by saying I did not make the mess so why should I have to clean it up? Or - If I wait long enough maybe it will all melt.
Excuse number four: I was so busy catching up on my writing and other things that got neglected during my ove, that I'm now behind on my blogging. Honestly. I have a new release coming out on the 13th, and it was so late getiing to my editor that I'm lucky she lives on a different continent and can't just come over and wack me upside the head for cutting things so close.
So, which one do you believe? Or do you maybe thing I have a more sinister excuse?

And I totally get your decision not to shovel snow - avoiding that task was one of the reasons I moved to south Texas. ;-)
Eh, no worries, Anne. Are you enjoying your new house? Hope it's inspired your muse all over again.
